The Idoma Daughters and Wives Association (IDWA) expresses deep sorrow over the rising insecurity, killings, and kidnappings in Zone C of Benue State. As peace-loving people, we stand in solidarity with all families who have lost loved ones and offer our heartfelt condolences.
In our statement, we commend the efforts of relevant authorities but call for more decisive action to restore lasting peace and security. IDWA urges mothers and caregivers to stay vigilant, guide their children positively, and promote economic activities that engage youth meaningfully.
As we continue to pray for peace, we must also act—raising awareness, identifying root causes, and working together to rebuild a safe and united Idoma land. IDWA remains committed to supporting our communities in any way we can.

Let peace reign.
