The 1st Idoma Women Conference Set to Hold in March 2026

The Idoma community is set to witness a landmark gathering as the 1st Idoma Women Conference takes place from 12th – 15th March 2026 in Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria. The conference is presented by Her Royal Majesty, Martha Omabo Elaigwu Odogbo, Agbanya K’ Idoma, in collaboration with the Idoma Daughters and Wives Association (IDWA).

With the theme “Idoma Women: Building a Secure and Empowered Future,” the conference aims to bring together Idoma women from across Nigeria and the diaspora to engage in meaningful dialogue, share knowledge, and strengthen the collective capacity of women to drive social, economic, and community development.

The conference will serve as a platform for empowerment, mentorship, and collaboration, highlighting the vital role women play in shaping the future of the Idoma nation.

Programme Highlights

The four-day event will feature a range of impactful activities designed to promote community welfare, leadership development, and social engagement.

Day One – 12th March 2026
Arrival and registration of delegates.

Day Two – 13th March 2026
Charity Day featuring a Free Medical Outreach and distribution of essential items at Och’Idoma Square, beginning at 9:00 AM. The outreach aims to improve access to healthcare services for members of the community.

Day Three – 14th March 2026
The main Conference and Seminar Day at Victoria Events, Otukpo. Participants will experience insightful sessions, empowerment talks, networking opportunities, and capacity-building discussions focused on advancing the role of women in leadership, entrepreneurship, and community development. The day will also feature the Men’s Quarter, encouraging inclusive dialogue and collaboration.

Day Four – 15th March 2026
Thanksgiving Service will be held at the Och’Idoma’s Chaplaincy, Otukpo, bringing the conference to a meaningful close.
